3D Printing the Campus of the University of Southern California

Students of the 3D Printing Club 3D4E from the University of Southern California (USC) are currently designing and creating a model of USC's campus using the ZEUS 3D Printer. Buildings are quickly turned into physical 3D models using 3D printing technology.

This on-going project is accomplished by using the ZEUS 3D printers. Campus buildings can be created by either printing from CAD-designed models using the print function or 3D copying clay models via the scan-to-print function.

3D4E extended the model by integrating small LED-lights to identify buildings and help students and visitors quickly find their way around the USC campus.
